Carolyn L. Mein, D.C. discovered your body type is a powerful mirror reflecting your true motivations. Each of us have specific personality traits based on our unique type. Once you understand your body type's unique traits, you can build your strengths, overcome your weaknesses and develop other aspects of yourself. Like a road-map, your body type guides you in the right direction and helps you stay firmly on course.

Each of the 25 body types have four basic personality traits -- mental, emotional, spiritual and physical. Two of these traits are dominant and are called your Points of Connection. Your unique Points of Connection (either mental or emotional; and physical or spiritual) are deeply embodied in your cellular structure and the areas you identify with most. When you're tired or stressed, these are the basic traits you rely on most heavily.

Once you have identified your dominant traits, look at how they are being expressed in your life. Is there one that screams along, begging to be relaxed? Or, is there a weak trait you'd like to strengthen? The challenge is to fortify, integrate and balance all four traits, successfully.
