Intestinal Dialogue
Icon A funnel symbolizes the Intestinal body type. The Intestinal type accepts everything that comes in, discerning what to keep and what to release. Constant new experiences are vital to an Intestinal's continued growth and expansion.

PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS

PSYCHOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS

ManWomanA layer of softness covering a solid musculature characterizes the Intestinal body type. This layer of softness causes the body to feel initially squishy to the touch in females. While this trait is not as noticeable in men, they have a soft appearance, making achieving muscle definition difficult. Both men and women are capable of carrying large amounts of weight, which is distributed in the front of their body and over their intestines. Men typically have a thick, straight torso with average thighs and calves. Their hips and shoulders are relatively even. Women can gain weight in their upper, lower or entire bodies with noticeable weight gain in their abdomen. Both men and women also frequently show muscle weakness under their chins, which can eventually transform into a double chin.

Intestinal types are sensitive and extremely emotional. Gentle, loving and compassionate, relationships are of utmost importance. They especially enjoy working with as others as their inspiration often comes from the emotional boost they receive by being around positive people. New experiences are vital to the Intestinal body type, so much so that they will expand physically if they're not getting sufficient mental, emotional, or spiritual stimulation. Intestinals have high standards and self-expectations, with a strong need to understand everything they encounter. Consequently, they are good at responding to problems objectively and analytically. However, because of the amount of energy it takes to research something, they tend to pre-judge similar situations. With their strong intuitive and creative sense, Intestinals are good at assessing situations and projects. Excellent at organization and inspiring others, Intestinals usually achieve whatever they set out to accomplish. Free spirits by nature yet conventional in their thinking, they are here to ultimately transform traditions.

"AT BEST"

"AT WORST"

  • Joyous and vivacious, Intestinals have a good sense of humor and are fun to be around.
  • Self-sufficient and introspective, Intestinals will successfully engage in self-care. This results in setting limits and successfully protecting their energies from depletion.
  • Intestinals have strong Universal support and intuitive guidance. When the channel to their intuitive side is open, Intestinals will be attracted to opportunities for new settings, situations and people. When they can express their intuitive gifts, Intestinals are in the flow of life and are connected to the Universe.

  • Intestinal types will refuse new experiences by pre-judging future situations based on the past. Once they have intellectual knowledge, Intestinals will often block new information by saying, "I already know that."
  • Emotional and sensitive, Intestinal types can be overly sentimental and may inappropriately laugh or cry easily. They can also swing to the other extreme and become abrasive. When overly dependent, they become self-indulgent.
  • Fearful of loss, rejection and change, Intestinals will often be too attached to their families, yet hold themselves back in a relationship. Lacking courage, they will go into or stay in a bad situation and stifle their emotions.
