Miracle Whip contains a lot of sugar in the form of high fructose corn syrup. Mayonnaise does not.

Since mayonnaise is listed as a "stressful" food and the listing for spleen says (under the "Weight Loss" section) "Limit sugar, including fruit, to twice a week" your friend may want to reconsider the Miracle Whip. That product also contains fillers, which is why it's less expensive than mayo.
